The IDEA here is to use a traditional drum kit in a different way.MY STORY I have a 5 Piece Drum Kit which I love, I've had it for years, but I wanted to make it smaller, more convenient to use, portable, that could be played in small places and would be quick to setup and teardown.Thanks to some feedback I received - I focused on creating a rack that enabled me to use either my 14" TomTom or my 16" FloorTom as a bass. A 14" bass is thuddy whereas the 16" bass brings the BOOM !I further designed the rack to hold a a SNARE drum ( 10" up to 14" ) and using standard clamps, the rack can take a TomTom , Hi Hat and a Crash/Ride cymbal. And lastly the whole things folds and packs into a cajon sized bag for portability.ORIRACK™ - a foldable portable rack for my own drums!
